I recently stayed at a charming hostel in Reykjavik for a few nights. The location was perfect, just minutes away from the main downtown street and bus stops. The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The room itself was comfortable and had good heating, which was important in the cold weather. I especially appreciated the high-quality duvets, duvet covers, and pillow covers provided. It was great value for the price and I would highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Iceland.
Can't recommend highly enough this hostel.

Great location close to downtown shops, restaurants, and bars. Convenient walk to BSi station and thermal swimming pool. Secure with pass code protected rooms and locked main door. Helpful receptionist/owner quickly resolved room issue and allowed late check-out. Clean with cool artwork and plenty of bathrooms.

Breakfast was priced well. Location was perfect. It is close to bus stops and other places of interest. Easy to find.
The code for the outside doors closest to the street should work.

The location of this hotel was excellent, right in the heart of the city. It was very convenient to walk to all the main attractions and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. the hotel offered free Wi-Fi throughout the property, which was great for staying connected during my stay.
This hotel fell short in a few areas. The cleanliness was not up to par, with dirty surfaces and bathrooms that were not well maintained.

We arrived a day earlier than planned and our original hotel was fully booked. Thankfully, we found B47, a nice and affordable place to stay for the night. We had initially booked a bed in a 6-person dorm, but the wonderful host upgraded us to a room with two beds. The self-check-in and check-out system was convenient, and though we didn't see any staff, everything ran smoothly. The room was comfortable with a sink, and the location was ideal, close to Hallgrímskirkja and a supermarket. The room felt secure and there were enough power outlets to charge our devices. The toilets were clean, though the showers could have been better. B47 was a cozy and budget-friendly option that I highly recommend.
Can recommend this hotel.

The hotel was located in a great area, close to key attractions and with easy access to transportation. the rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay.
One drawback was the noise level in the hotel. the thin walls made it easy to hear noises from neighboring rooms, which sometimes interrupted my sleep.

We recently stayed at a hostel in Reykjavik and had a great experience. the beds were comfortable and the showers were conveniently separate from each other. We really liked the coded doors, which meant we didn't have to worry about keeping track of a key. But the best part was the amazing manager who went above and beyond to help us figure out our transportation needs. They made sure we knew how to get to all the places we wanted to visit. Cons: Nothing to be said. 😊.

We had a wonderful stay at a hostel in Reykjavik. the reception staff was incredibly friendly and even upgraded our room for no reason. the location was perfect, right in the heart of town. the hostel had a great kitchen/common area, although it didn't have a stove. We appreciated the free lockers available to keep our valuables secure. the hostel had a cozy and vibrant atmosphere with colorful decorations. the rooms were comfortable, equipped with heating and a washbasin. It was nice that the hostel wasn't too big, creating a sense of community. We also noticed a grocery store nearby, making it convenient to buy affordable quick meals.
Nothing negative to say. 👍.

The location of this budget hostel was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. the check-in process was convenient with the automated email codes. the beds were comfortable, ensuring a decent night's sleep. the free coffee in the morning was a nice touch that added value to the stay.
The lack of cooking facilities was unexpected for a hostel. There were limited options for preparing meals, with only a fridge, microwave, jug, and rice cooker available.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
